We have another Strings teacher to assist Mr Racz and Mr Strong with the co-curricular program next term! Mr Andrew Russek.
Andrew Russek originally trained as a secondary music teacher and taught at Busby High School and Granville Boys’ High School. In 1972, he played in the orchestra for the professional stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Whilst working in the financial sector as National Technical Manager for Comminsure, he continued to perform professionally and also conduct many musical productions around Sydney. He now teaches string classes in the Orchestra Program at Parramatta Marist High School and also smaller groups at St Finbar’s and Mary MacKillop Primary as well as conducting the newly formed string orchestra at Mary MacKillop.

LATEST NEWS 2/8/11
I've taken off my personal tweet feed and added 2 #conversation feeds. One is for Captivate, #parrastrings. You can join the conversation on twitter if you have any questions for any of the Captivate team i.e. Mr Rooke. The latest info regarding concerts and the combined schools orchestra.
The other is #sapsstrings (note the double s!) This is for all things strings at St. Andrew's Primary.
